KUALA LUMPUR – 38 new Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, shifting the death toll of the disease in Malaysia to 30,652 cases.

From that amount, eight cases were Brought in Dead (BID).

Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths with six cases, followed by Perak (five cases), meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu recorded four Covid-19 deaths each.

Pahang and Sabah recorded three deaths each respectively, two cases in Melaka, in the meantime, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Sarawak reported one case each respectively.

According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), no death was reported in Putrajaya, Labuan, Perlis and Penang.

Meanwhile, 463 cases are being treated at the intensive care unit, where 249 patients required respiratory support. -MalaysiaGazette
