KUALA LUMPUR – The Covid-19 cases in Malaysia continued to rise by recording 5,522 cases today after reporting 5,439 cases yesterday.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with that figure, the country has witnessed the Covid-19 outbreak threat of over 5,000 cases for two days consecutively.

He said, the cumulative Covid-19 positive cases as of 12.00 noon has increased to 2,855,930 cases.

“10 Covid-19 deaths were reported by the Ministry of Health (MOH) as of last 12.00 midnight.

“This shifted the total death to 31,940 people,” he said.

According to the MOH’s data on COVIDNOW, three deaths were brought-in-dead (BID).
