SERDANG – The body of a man with hacked marks was found in front of a food premise at Seri Kembangan early yesterday morning.

The incident was believed to happen in front of a restaurant at Jalan BS 6/8 Taman Bukit Serdang, Seri Kembangan.

The Serdang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner A. A. Anbalagan said, the police received information on the incident at 5.56 am yesterday.

Based on the information, the public discovered the unconscious body in front of the premise.

“The victim was a local man in his 30’s and his address was at Taman Bukit Serdang.

“Preliminary investigation found that the victim was murdered using sharp weapon such as machete,” he said in a statement last midnight.

He added, further inspection on the body of the deceased found that the victim was hacked on his face, neck and arms.

According to him, the body of the victim was sent to the Serdang Hospital for autopsy to identify the cause of death.

“The police are investigating the case to track and arrest all suspects identified who are still at large after committing the murder,” he said.

The case is investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. -MalaysiaGazette
