KUALA LUMPUR – The police had identified the involvement of three suspects in the murder of a local man who was shot to death in a hotel room at Jalan Bukit Bintang last night.

The Dang Wangi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Noor Dellhan Yahaya said, the room mate of the victim who is under investigation as the first suspect of the case has been remanded this morning.

The police also identified the involvement of two other suspects in the crime.

“In the Bukit Bintang Hotel case, a suspect was arrested last night (the deceased’s friend) and the remand starts today until 9 May to assist into the investigation.

“The suspect is a local man in his 40’s,” he said when contacted today.

Noor Dellhan also verified that the police seized five mobile phones, clothes, a pair of shoes and a sling bag from the first suspect.

He added, two other suspects are also suspected to be involved with the murder and the police have identified them.

The second and third suspects are local men in their 40’s and 50’s.

“The police are intensifying efforts to track down the two suspects who are still at large.

“Meanwhile, the police are still identifying the motive of the incident and searching for the pistol used to shoot the victim.

“We are still investigating the victim’s occupation, and the purpose he came to Kuala Lumpur,” he said.
