Malaysia has recorded a drop in daily Covid-19 cases for two consecutive days with 6,824 cases today

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia has recorded a drop in daily Covid-19 cases for two consecutive days with 6,824 cases today.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with the new cases, the cumulative cases in the country have increased to 572,357 cases.

He said, Selangor remained as the state with the highest number of cases with 2,111 cases and all other states recorded an increment of cases today.

Kelantan came second with 695 cases, followed by Sarawak (654), Johor (489) and Kedah (464).

“Perlis also recorded a double-digit increment with 12 cases reported today,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Yesterday, Malaysia recorded 6,999 Covid-19 cases after five days of over 7,000 cases with the highest record of 9,020 cases. –MalaysiaGazette
