KUALA LUMPUR – The National Recovery Council (MPN) will announce the relaxation of movement control for individuals who have completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine after the Hari Raya Aidiladha holidays.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, at the Technical Committee is currently studying the matter in detail.

Besides that, the government is also studying the sectors that could be granted leniency after their workers have completed two doses of vaccine.

“We will give some leniency to the people who have completed two doses of vaccine. The Technical Committee is studying in detail on who can move and it would be given to those who have received two doses of vaccine.

“The government is also studying the sector that can be granted the leniency after getting two doses of vaccine. Thus, we will announce it after the Aidiladha,” he said in a news conference after launching the MinDef Prihatin programme today.

Last Saturday, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the government is planning to relax movement control on individuals who have completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine and it would be decided during the MPN meeting. –MalaysiaGazette
