SHAH ALAM – A woman who proclaimed herself as the Chief of Perjalanan Mimpi Yang Terakhir (PMYT) teachings, Sittah Annur stated her repentance at the Syarahan and Muzakarah Hall of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque today.

Sittah Annur, or her real name, Masitah Ab Jalar, 39, who originated from Kelantan pronounced her repentance at 11.44 am this morning while being witnessed by four witnesses.

Her first witness was the Mufti of Selangor, Sahibus Samahah Datuk Dr. Anhar Upair; second witness, Director of Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS), Datuk Mohd Shahzihan Ahmad; third witness, Secretary of Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS), Dr. Ahmad Shahir Makhtar and the fourth witness, Enforcement Coordination and Syariah Prosecution Department Director of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Mohd Ansor Rullah Mohd Hassim.

Masitah recited her repentance texts calmly, followed by two declarations of syahadah, before signing the document.

Among the content of her repentance declaration include the confession of the things she did as shown in the social media, besides, asking her followers to repent along with her.

At the same time, Masitah said that she was not forced by anyone to make the repentance, but she was truly remorseful over her wrongdoings.

Earlier, several serious of video about Sittah Annur claiming that the Third World War would take place in Sabah and she was leading her team in search for Imam Mahdi to fight the enemies.

The woman also alleged that she possessed special abilities in predicting the future, besides claiming that she can communicate directly with Allah S.W.T, the angels and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

The police arrested Sittah Annur on 3 September at her house and found receipts amounting to RM84,721 believed to be contributed by her followers.

The woman, however, was released on police bail. -MalaysiaGazette
