KUALA LUMPUR – The President of UMNO, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will be answering the issues surrounding the appointment of the Johor Menteri Besar (MB) during the UMNO General Assembly (PAU) 2021 tomorrow.
He will also be answering about the party’s internal protest for the 15th General Election (GE15).
However, he did not say if he will be answering those issues during his policy speech or through a news conference.
“I will answer both of these tomorrow,” he said briefly during a news conference.
Earlier, he was asked to comment about the allegations that some UMNO members opposed for the GE15 to be held soon, and the grassroots rejection towards the appointment of Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi as the Menteri Besar of Johor.
The rejection was reportedly caused by the grassroots wanted Datuk Hasni Mohammad to be maintained as the MB of Johor. -MalaysiaGazette
