KUALA LUMPUR – A DAP Kuala Lumpur Complaint Department staff, Lai Chun Chian received his fourth Covid-19 dose after a glitch in the MySejahtera application.

According to Chun Chian, he received the information about the second booster dose or fourth jab early morning on Wednesday (23 March). He went for his shot at 1.00 pm at a clinic in Kepong and chose Pfizer.

“I was given an appointment at 2.00 pm but I arrived at 1.00 pm. After the staff on duty checked my MyKad and vaccination information, I was given the fourth dose,” he told Sinchew Daily.

According to Chun Chian, he did not suspect anything about the appointment as he was a frontliner handling complaints and needed to deal with many people every day.

Based on the record, he received his booster dose on 9 December and he received a similar dose on 23 March.

The Ministry of Health issued statement that there was a technical problem in the booster dose appointment system which affected certain adolescents below the age of 17 and adults who have received their third or booster dose.

According to a report by Kwong Wah Yit Poh, people who received appointment for their second booster dose or the fourth Covid-19 vaccination dose may ignore the message. -MalaysiaGazette
