KUALA LUMPUR – 1,571 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday (12 June), including one imported case.

According to COVIDNOW, the addition increased the cumulative Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 4,489,118 cases.

As of last midnight, there was one Covid-19 death, shifting the pandemic death toll in the country to 35,712 cases.

There were also 22,395 active cases within the same period, including 976 cases in the hospitals nationwide.

From that amount, 26 Covid-19 patients were being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU) and 15 required respiratory support. -MalaysiaGazette
