KUALA LUMPUR – 9,751 new Covid-19 cases were reported today, shifting the cumulative cases in the country to 2,323,478 cases.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 1,796, followed by Sarawak (1,339) and Kelantan (1,052).

Johor recorded 864 cases, Sabah (705), Terengganu (650), Perak (643), Penang (632), Kedah (578), Pahang (551) and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (313).

Several states recorded less than 300 cases; Melaka with 244 cases, Negeri Sembilan (243), Perlis (94) and Putrajaya (45).
