PUTRAJAYA – The people are advised to avoid bringing their children to crowded places.

Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, health and safety are joint-responsibility.

“We need to heighten self-control to reduce infection, especially by wearing face mask, which is still compulsory under Act 342.

“As I mentioned, physical distancing. We need to protect ourselves. If we see that a place is congested, we don’t need to go there yet. We only go there when it is less congested,” he said when met by the journalists at the Ramadan Bazaar today.

Prime Minister said, he was satisfied that most of the visitors at the Ramadan Bazaar obeyed the SOP although physical distancing is no longer an offence after the government relaxed the SOP on 1 April.

“The compulsory SOP is wearing face mask. So, I see that everyone wears face mask, including children.

“As of congestion and others, as I said just now, beginning 1 April, it is no longer compulsory and we will no longer fine people for not practicing physical distancing,” he said. -MalaysiaGazette
