KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia reported less than a thousand Covid-19 daily cases yesterday (3 May) with 921 cases.

Based on the information uploaded to COVIDNOW, nine Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, including five Brought-in-Dead (BID) cases.

The addition shifted the pandemic death toll to 35,564 cases.

As of last midnight, there were 4,609 active cases in the country and 929 cases were under treatment at the hospitals.

69 of them were receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including 46 cases which required respiratory support.

At the same time, 5,520 Covid-19 patients recovered from the disease. -MalaysiaGazette
