KUALA LUMPUR – The main mission of Barisan Nasional (BN) currently is to win the 15th General Election (GE15) with a convincing majority to save Malaysia, said its Deputy Chairman, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

According to him, the national economy needs recovery because the people are facing the rising cost of goods, beyond what they can afford. The country, according to him, is also at risk of losing basic food supplies.

He said, although BN is the current government, it does not have a dominant authority.

BN has to adhere to various political constraints and understanding, with numerous alliances and adversaries.

“If BN wants to act slightly aggressively the party will be threatened. Therefore, we must heal Malaysia. It must become the ultimate mission of BN,” he said during the launch of BN Convention in conjunction with its 48th anniversary today.

Mohamad said, when BN was toppled in 2018, PH failed to rule and they failed terribly.

“In all aspects, we have moved backwards. And, when we lead the government again now, our hands are tied and constrained,” Mohamad said.

Meanwhile, the faith towards public institution was also affected and the investment climate continues to fade and slow down.

Secondly, he said that BN needs to rule again to return political stability in the country.

“If this goes on, Malaysia will continue to be left behind. We must plant this in all Malaysians. Do not continue to experiment with national politics. They must make rational and objective decision. Not emotional and get carried away with sentiments,” he said.

He added, BN must take over Malaysia again as it wants to create a future for the future generation.

According to him, administering the country is not merely to manage it for today, but also to build its foundation for tomorrow.

“We must get rid off the filthiness and wrongdoings of the existing generation and prepare a better track for our future generation. We no longer live in our generation.

“Do not continue to destroy this era and leave Malaysia in a dire situation to the future generation of Malaysia.

“Thus, BN must create the best future for the future generation of Malaysia,” Mohamad said. – MalaysiaGazette
