KUALA LUMPUR – The daily new Covid-19 cases is still below the 2,000 range after the country recorded 1,918 cases yesterday.

The number included 22 imported cases.

Based on the data uploaded to the Ministry of Health’s COVIDNOW website, there were two Covid-19 deaths yesterday, shifting the pandemic death toll to 35,647 cases.

There were 24,940 active cases in the country as of last midnight, a reduction of 208 cases from the day before.

Meanwhile, 1,075 Covid-19 patients were under treatment in the hospitals (4.3 percent) and 32 of the cases were being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within the same period.
