JOHOR BAHRU – The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumers Affair (KPDNHEP) of Johor Bahru has conducted monitoring and inspections at all petrol stations along Jalan Tun Razak heading towards Jalan Skudai to ensure that the foreign-registered vehicles do not abuse the subsidised RON95 fuel.
In a media statement today via the KPDNHEP Official Facebook, 15 petrol stations have been inspected from 9.00 pm last night following the reports of some irresponsible and dishonest Singaporeans refuelling with RON95 around Johor Bahru recently, after the national borders were reopened.
Besides giving reminders to the staff of petrol stations, they also issued orders to foreign-registered vehicle owners to not buy RON95 fuel.

“The sales ban of RON95 petrol to foreign-registered vehicles has been implemented since 1 August 2010,” it said in a statement.
Therefore, the Johor KPDNHEP will take stern actions on the owners of petrol station who fail to monitor the abuse of RON95 according to the law.
The public may channel information, including the pictures and location of the petrol station is they spot any foreign-registered vehicles refuelling with RON95.
